Day to day
After arriving at Dalaman airport, the driver will be waiting for you and take you in a 45 minutes. Your lodging for the upcoming cycling cruise is a wooden ship (Gület). On this ship you will have your own cabin and equipped with shower and toilet. Should you arrive early you will already have plenty of time to explore the cozy harbor town of Fethiye. In the late afternoon, we pick up the bikes at a nearby hotel. This is also an immediate opportunity to test the bikes. Once everyone is on board we leave for a quiet bay where we will spend the night. In the evening, you can already enjoy the extensive Turkish cuisine. A wonderful cycling cruise can begin!
Overnight Boyunuz Bay
Kille Bay is the starting point for the first bike ride. You will paddle along the unpaved trails at your own pace so you can enjoy all the views. The highest point is over 200 meters. After the necessary climbing, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the bay. After the descent, it is time for a coffee-tea stop in the village of Sarsala. Tea is followed by a steady climb over asphalt. The summit is at 180 meters. The views along the way are phenomenal, and when you arrive at the top, you will see the ship ahead of you. The zodiac will take you to the ship but, of course, you may also choose to swim to the ship. On board, the cook awaits you with a delicious lunch.
During the afternoon, the ship sails on to the deserted bay of Ase Bay. After the serpentine descent, it’s time for lunch on board After lunch, salty waters await for a cooling dip! Then we set sail for the quiet bay of Ase, where we will spend the night.
Overnight Ase bay
Today you will take a scenic route through the agricultural hinterland in the valley of Guzelyurt. After a short climb on unpaved forest trails, you will cycle past many orchards with various fruits. You feast your eyes on all that grows and flourishes here. On the way back, it’s time for a cup of Turkish tea. You will bike again through the forest back to the same bay where you started this morning, the bike ride. How beautiful life can be! In the afternoon, the ship sails on for the overnight stay at Arab adasi.
Overnight Arab Adasi
In the morning, set course for the starting point of your bike tour for today; Serçe. Serçe is the southernmost point where you. Lack of water in this area is evident in the landscape. It is much less green than the area the day before. Although the distance suggests otherwise, this is a tough bike ride. But the surroundings are truly beautiful with rugged landscapes, wild horses and the most beautiful views of quiet coves and rugged coastlines. The village of Sögüt is a nice place for a cup of tea. Bozburun is known for its craftsmanship when it comes to boat building. Your eyes are looking out!
The ship is already waiting for you in the port of Bozburun. In the afternoon, explore the town of Bozburun.
Overnight port of Bozburun
After breakfast, the ship will take you to the small port of Selimiye where you will go ashore for the bike ride. You will have a choice of 2 bike rides today. The length of both rides in almost the same but more climbing is required during the heavier version. Both rides meet again in the authentic town of bayirkoy. Bayirkoy is known far and wide for the immense plane tree that stands in the middle of the village square. This tree is nearly 3 meters in diameter and is about 2,000 years old. After the tea break under this ancient giant, cycle through the village of Turgut to the bay where the ship is already waiting for you. After lunch, the captain sails to a quiet bay and it is time to realax.
Overnight Turgut bay
The last cycling day of this cycling vacation is also the longest. This bike ride is a real treat for those who love crystal clear bays and wooded trails. The roads become narrow lanes, in the middle of nature. We saved the best for last: a winding road, all along beautiful blue deserted coves, a real feast for the eyes! The next place is even more beautiful than the last.
Overnight Bencik Bay
After breakfast, the ship sets sail for the starting point of this trip, the port of Fethiye. On the return trip, several bays are visited and there is an opportunity for swimming. By late afternoon, the ship will be back in the port of Fethiye and you will have the opportunity to dive into cozy Fethiye.

General information
During this cycling and boating vacation in Turkey, you will discover the beautiful Kara coast in a group setting. The Carian coast is known for its beautiful coastline, pristine nature and countless deserted bays.
The area is sparsely populated with several ports and car-free roads. This therefore also makes this location very suitable for a bike-boating vacation.
The day trips are highly recreational and range from 20 to 35 kilometers. On average, the tours last between 3 and 4 hours. The Carian coast is not flat; for variety, you will encounter occasional steeper sections. The length of a steeper section is never really long with an occasional outlier of a few kilometers on bike day 2.
All routes, except the first ride, are on paved roads with little traffic. The aim is to be back at the boat no later than 1 p.m. for a sumptuous lunch.
Cycling-boating vacation Turkey You will stay on a 30-meter long gület, a wooden sailing ship, equipped with all conveniences. All cabins have their own toilet and shower. The ship will mainly motor from bay to bay, taking the group along the way to the places from which the cycling routes will depart. Most of the overnight stays will also take place in a bay so that you can fully enjoy the peace and nature. The afternoons are for relaxation, swimming, snorkeling and/or boating.
