11 day cycling trip Macedonia, May 2015 Beautiful cycling trip around lakes and through beautiful natural parks. Nice, quiet routes on good roads and some bits of unpaved through a farming landscape. All around you flowers, lizards and unusual birds, including pelicans. Trips to a waterfall, a reconstructed village on stilts in the water, monastery, church and even to Albania. The locals are friendly and hospitable and prices are pleasantly low. The hotels are well chosen and very different. Ohrid is a cozy place to spend a rest day. Excellent guidance and care by Raymond and Simone. Highly recommended.
