Day to day

Arrival in Logroño and accommodation at Hotel Los Portales (or similar), in the heart of the city. We recommend taking a stroll and discovering the famous tapas of Calle Laurel.

Today’s route takes you from Logroño to the medieval village of Laguardia in La Rioja Alavesa. You will start on the Camino de Santiago and cycle among the characteristic vineyards. In Laguardia, be sure to visit one of the traditional “calados” (underground cellars)

Today you will cycle to the Ysios winery, a symbol of the region designed by Calatrava. Through rural paths and secondary roads you will reach Haro, where you will find the famous wineries Viña Tondonia and Muga.

The first part of the route is flat and leads to Briones, the site of the impressive Wine Culture Museum of Dinastía Vivanco. Then the landscape changes and you will reach Santo Domingo de la Calzada, a historic junction on the pilgrimage route.

You will follow the Camino de Santiago through undulating countryside with views of the Ezcaray Mountains. The route takes you to San Millán, the cradle of the Spanish language, before descending to Nájera

The tour continues through grain fields and vineyards towards Elciego, home of the iconic Marqués de Riscal. From here, follow the Ebro River back to the terminus in Logroño

A free day in Logroño to collect last memories before leaving for the airport or your next destination
