Arrival at Ibiza airport.

From the airport, the cab will take you to the hotel in Santa Eulalia in half an hour. Late afternoon, rental bikes can be picked up at the bike rental shop.

Torre de Campanitx route (40-67 km)

The first route of your cycling vacation takes you inland to Torre de Campanitx ; 1 of the 7 watchtowers still to be found on the island. In the past, these towers served to warn residents against pirates and robbers. As a warning, fires were then lit on these towers. You pass the quaint village of Sant Carles de Peralta with a number of cozy eateries. This village where time seems to have stood still is surrounded by fig and almond trees. Highly recommended is café Anita on corner in just village. Take a walk inside because this place still exudes the authentic hippie atmosphere of long ago. Artists paid for their refreshments here with their paintings when there was no money.

These paintings are scattered throughout this café-restaurant. In Es Canar, the hippie market takes place every Wednesday.

West coast route (80km)

Today's route is the longest and perhaps the toughest route of this cycling vacation but you will certainly fully enjoy the narrow unpaved ancient paths you will encounter everywhere. You will cross the island today to the west side of the island. The part of the west coast is very special because there you cycle over rocky ground with great views of the coastline.

Portinax route (46-66km)

Today's route takes you to the northernmost part of the island: seaside Portinax. Port San Miquel is located on a beautiful bay and has several lunch options.
Highly recommended is a visit to the Can Marçà cave. This cave is among the oldest caves in Ibiza. About 100,000 years ago, it was formed by moving earth layers. In Cova de Can Marçà there is much to see, such as standing and hanging dripstone formations, but the waterfalls that have become petrified over thousands of years are also stunningly beautiful.

Sant Antoni route (71km)

During today's route, you also cross the island again to the port town of Sant Antoni de Portmany. You cycle west and, after about 20 km, pass the charming village of Santa Gertruidis de Fruitera: a perfect place for a coffee or tea in the square. This village is surrounded by fruit trees and has many restaurants, artisan stores and coastal galleries. A walk through this lively village is definitely recommended. This area is also known as the wine-growing region of Ibiza.
The port town of Sant Antoni de Portmany is fun to check out and a nice stop for lunch. The many murals on the buildings are especially pleasing to the eye. This town has great appeal in terms of nightlife with long (dance) nights until the early hours.

Rest Day

No cycling program today. A visit to Ibiza Town is definitely recommended. This can also be combined with a trip to Formentera. Lounging by the pool, of course, is also an option.

White villages route (71 km)

On the final bike route of this vacation, you'll cycle through several authentic Ibiza-style villages. Examples of the island's traditional architecture can still be found in these villages. Landowners built defense towers attached to their houses to protect themselves from pirate attacks.
The landscape is a feast for the eyes with orchards and olive groves interspersed with quaint villages such as Sant Mateu. This place is surrounded by vineyards and almond trees. Near the white plastered church is a restaurant for a delicious Spanish lunch. During the last part you also pass Santa Gertruidis de Fruitera again for a refreshing drink on the terrace, before starting the last part of this cycling vacation.

At the end of the afternoon, rental bikes with supplies should be returned to the bike rental company.
